“I chose you before I formed you in the womb; I set you apart before you were born…”

Some people leave fingerprints on countless lives without ever seeking recognition for it.

That is Hannah and Ben.

For years, they have invested in students, encouraged families, served faithfully, and poured into the next generation through our church and homeschool community. My own family has been blessed by their influence, and it was such an honor to celebrate this season with them.

We wandered along the beach and the joy between them was impossible to miss. There was plenty of laughter, plenty of smiles, and the kind of excitement that comes from knowing life is about to change forever.

In just a few short weeks, they’ll welcome their daughter, Evangeline.

One of my favorite things about maternity sessions is that they preserve a season that passes so quickly and are a reminder of all the conversations about who this little person will become and the dreaming of this little life!

For Hannah and Ben, this season feels especially sweet.

After spending so many years investing in children and teenagers, they are preparing to meet their own little girl. The same patience, wisdom, kindness, and faithfulness they have shared with so many others will soon be poured into the life of their daughter.

Watching them together made it easy to picture the kind of parents they will be.

Evangeline is already deeply loved, and she is stepping into a family that has spent years demonstrating what it means to love and serve others well.

Ben and Hannah, thank you for allowing me to document this beautiful chapter. I cannot wait to see the adventures that await your family and to meet sweet Evangeline very soon.
