First she was teeny…

I first met Fiona and her family in the middle of (or I guess at this point kind of near the beginning of) the pandemic. Everything was still so strange and new, and we weren’t quite sure what we were dealing with. Fiona’s nurse mom decided that her baby is only a newborn once! So, when Fiona was just a few days old, we photographed her precious newborn babyness. You can see her thoughts/review HERE. Baby’s First Year flies by in a mix of joy, tiredness, adventure, long nights, and most of all, deep love. So she decided to make sure she documented as much of it as possible!

Fast forward 1 year…

…and Fiona is cuter than  ever!  A gorgeous sunset evening on Cape Cod backdropped our time together and I can’t wait to get back!

 

Loved every minute of being with these guys, and so looking forward to our next session!

 

Does that mean everything was absolutely ideal? Nope! LOL!  The beach was packed (welcome to summer on the Cape!), within 10 min of starting we needed a potty break, and Fiona decided that she was thinking a nap would be a great idea! What do you expect after an awesome day on the beach!?

 

No matter what the circumstances, we get beautiful images when we just go with the flow. Love their outfits, and their smiles! Mama was happy to go with the flow, and didn’t let anything frazzle her!  I think that’s half the secret. If mom stays calm and joyful, everyone takes her cue and does so, too!

 

No regrets here… nothing got in the way of joy joy joy!
