I have the most incredible friend. On top of cherishing her beautiful family, she raises chickens, goats, ducks, and knows a host of amazing information about how to keep your family well and thriving! And a part of that is the timeless sink bath!

I was so honored to photograph her home birth last year, and any time I’m able to connect with her to catch up is an absolute joy. This time we did it over tubby time in the kitchen sink!  This ages-old practice of the sink bath has been forgotten in today’s world of large, fancy bathrooms serving the whole home. Its quaint efficiency makes it a no-brainer. And of course, in this instance, the light… oh that light! And don’t forget the chicks hatching in the incubator on the other side of the counter…

Her desire to grow, change, and serve the Lord in everything she does is beautiful! I’m constantly learning from and inspired by her.

And of course, we’re already scheming our next ideas 😉

Thank you again, my friend! Till next time!
