Why a Newborn Photography mentorship?

There is so much more in each one of us as creatives that just needs to be given the tools (or even sometimes just permission!) to burst out and be seen.

I have been so blessed to have people I trust pour into me and coax out the best in me. In taking leaps of faith, guided by my own mentors I have learned and grown beyond my wildest dreams.  

One of my favorite things, and a skill I have exercised in my business and other areas of my life, is to bring out the unique beauty in each person I have the joy of working with. It’s there! It just needs to be given a chance to flourish and grow.

What does a Newborn Photography Mentoring Day look like?

The Mentorship Day will be customized based on your needs as we chat during our Zoom call and dig into what you want to learn and grow in. There are so many topics that could be covered – client experience, posing, editing, workflow, props & tools, business and way more! A day could look like:

FAQ

QUESTIONS

I currently shoot with a Nikon Z6II (a good balance between capabilities and file size!) having switched from the Nikon D750 about 2 years ago. While gear is a helpful factor when you shoot, you can make art with any camera!

Both in the studio and on location I use 35mm and 50mm lenses. On location I also use 85mm and in the studio a 105mm macro lens (for details).

Either at your studio or mine!
If you would like me to travel to your location, travel fees apply. (Mentorship cost is $2,800 + airfare, hotel and car rental for 2 days)

If the mentorship is at my studio, I will take care of finding models!
If I am coming to you, I will work with you to find models! Since you have a finger on the pulse of your local community, it will be more effective for you to reach out (and gain some exposure while you’re at it!)

A 50% deposit due to reserve your spot on the calendar.The balance of the fee is due 2 weeks before we meet.
